Shipping & Package Responsibility Policy

At Par Par Birdies, we are committed to providing our customers with the best possible shopping experience, which includes offering free standard ground shipping on all orders. While we strive to ensure all packages are delivered in a timely and safe manner, it is important to clarify the responsibilities surrounding shipping, insurance, and package risks.

Standard Ground Shipping & Insurance

  • Free Standard Ground Shipping: The free shipping option provided for all orders is a standard ground shipping service, which does not include expedited delivery.
  • Insurance Coverage: All orders shipped via standard ground shipping come with basic insurance coverage of up to $100. This insurance is provided by the shipping carrier to protect against the risk of damage or loss while the package is in transit.

In Case of Package Damage or Loss

  • Carrier Responsibility: While packages are delivered without issue 99% of the time, we understand that, in rare instances, packages may be damaged or misplaced during transit. In such cases, it is the responsibility of the shipping carrier to investigate the situation and determine whether insurance compensation will be provided.
  • Insurance Payout: The maximum insurance coverage provided by the carrier is $100 for lost or damaged packages. In the event of a lost or damaged package, and if the carrier's investigation determines that insurance is applicable, up to $100 will be refunded back to the purchasing customer.

Additional Insurance Options

  • For Packages Exceeding $100: If the value of your order exceeds $100, you have the option to purchase additional insurance coverage to ensure the full value of the package is protected. This additional insurance can be selected during checkout.
  • Customer Risk for Uninsured Packages: If you choose not to purchase additional insurance for packages valued over $100, you, the customer, assume the risk of loss or damage. In this case, if the package is lost or damaged in transit, no additional compensation will be provided beyond the standard $100 insurance limit.

Signature Requirement Option

  • Signature Requirement at Delivery: For customers who prefer added security, we offer the option to pay for a signature requirement at delivery. This means that the package will only be delivered to the customer in person, ensuring it is hand-delivered to the correct recipient. This is a great option if you're concerned about the package being left unattended or want to ensure the package is received directly by you.
    • Please note that the signature requirement will incur an additional fee. You can select this option during checkout.

 

Expedited Shipping Option

  • Expedited Shipping: At checkout, you also have the option to purchase expedited shipping for faster delivery. Our responsibility is to ensure that your package is shipped out as quickly as possible from our warehouse once the order is processed.
  • Carrier Delays: While we make every effort to expedite the shipping process, please note that we are not responsible for any delays that may occur once the package has been handed over to the carrier. Delays, although rare, can occur due to factors such as severe weather conditions or peak logistics seasons (e.g., holidays). These delays are outside of our control, and we are not liable for any inconvenience or additional costs caused by such events.
